prepare FOr BluetOOtH
1. When use Bluetooth, please make sure the mobile phone sup
ports Bluetoothfunction.
2. For the different kind of mobile phone, Bluetooth emissive
power has some difference. To get the best conversation qual-
ity, it is commended that the distance between the mobile
phone and the unit is within 3m. And please don’t put any metal
object or any obstacle between the path of the mobile phone
and the unit.
pairinG
1. In any mode, press and hold PAIR (MOD) button (5) on the
front panel, “Pairing……” will appear on the LCD.
2. On the mobile phone, select the Bluetooth set up. (Please refer
to the instruction manual of your mobile phone on how to oper-
ate Bluetooth.
3. “CarBT” should appear in the list on your mobile phone, please
select “CarBT” and then input password “0000”.
4. When successful paired, “Pairing OK” will be displayed on LCD.
5. When pairing failed, you can press and hold PAIR button (5)
again to try the pairing again within several seconds. If there is
no operation after several seconds, the LCD display will return
to the previous mode automatically.
6. Note: During Pairing, only (Release) button (2), Volume knob
(26), and the button (14) are functional, other keys are disabled
during pairing mode. When pairing, you can press and hold
PAIR button (5) to terminate the pairing.
COnneCt
This unit is built-in auto-reconnection function. Every
time when you short press
button (4)
, the unit will
auto reconnect with the mobile phone (note: the
mobile phone must have been paired with the unit
before) In the following conditions you can recon-
nect manually by pressing
CON button (18)
for sev-
eral seconds, and
“Connect…….”
will appear on
LCD, when reconnect is successful
“Connected!
OK!”
will be displayed. And you can hear beep tone.
When reconnect is failed
“Connecting Failed!”
will
be displayed on LCD for several seconds. And you
can hear beep tone.
1. If the mobile phone is out of range, the connection will be lost,
when you come back to the unit, reconnection is necessary.
2. When the mobile phone is out of range from the unit, and there
is an incoming call, when you come back to the unit, and you
want to transfer the audio to the unit, you need to reconnection.
3. When you press (Release) button (2) to release the front panel,
the connection will be break off. When you install the front
panel, you need to
reconnection.
4. If you turn off the mobile phone that has paired with the unit,
when you turn on the mobile phone, you need to reconnection.

When successful paired, shortly press
T-MENU
button (6)
on the front panel will enter the telephone
menu, keep pressing this button or press /
button
(1)
to change the items in this menu. The itemswill
be displayed in the following sequence:
SPEED DIAL/ RECEIVED LIST/ DIALED LIST/ MISSED LIST/
PHONE BOOK (Mobile Phone)/ PHONE BOOK (SIM Card) /
AUTO ANSWER/ TALK VOLUME.
The details please see the following instruction.
1. When you use / button (1) to change the items, if you press
in SPEED DIAL interface, or press or T-MENU button in TALK
VOLUME interface, it will exit the current menu and the unit
will return to the previous mode.
2. Phone Book direct searching through the unit is only avail
able for the mobile phone supports Phone Book Download.
Some model of mobile phone don’t support Phone Book
Download, if you try to download Phone Book from a mobile
phone doesn’t support this feature, “READING……” will be
displayed on LCD for several seconds, after several seconds,
“Empty” will be displayed on LCD for several seconds. If there
is no operation for several seconds, it will return to the previ-
ous mode automatically.
3. In RECEIVED LIST, DIALED LIST, MISSED LIST, PHONE
BOOK (Mobile Phone) and PHONE BOOK (SIM Card) menu,
before the unit finish downloading the data from the mobile
phone, “READING……” will be displayed on LCD.
Once the download is completed, “READING……” will disap-
pear and the phone number will be displayed.
4. Anytime pressing CLR button (24) will exit T-MENU, and
the unit will return to the previous mode.
