Connect check valve to airline between air pump and aquarium.
5.
Connect aquarium-end of airline to air stone provided or air
diffuser of choice.
6.
Place air stone / air diffuser in aquarium.
7.
Plug in air pump to approved household electrical plug.
8.
Models MX-2000 & MX-4500 come with an adjustable airflow dial.
To reduce airflow turn dial to left. To increase airflow turn dial to
right.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Airflow loss is usually caused by clogged air inlet sponge or
clogged air stone.
2.
Airline inlet sponge should be cleaned every 3 months. (See image
below)
3.
Air stones get clogged/blocked from algae, floating debris, and
mineral deposit build-up in the pores. You can clean air stones by
blowing through the air stone. If this does not work you will need
to replace the air stone.
4.
Clean outside of pump with damp cloth and mild detergent.
5.
Do not use oil on the pump.

SELECTING A LOCATION
•
Place air pump at the highest level of the aquarium in order to
avoid water flowing into the pump.

A check valve is provided so water does not flow back into the air
pump.

Do not place air pump in high temperature or humidity
environments, direct sunlight.

Make sure electricity used for this air pump is 110V/60Hz.
