power source until heater is connected and sub-
merged in water
Attaching Magnetic Heater Case Holders
Unpack contents of the TRUETEMP TITANIUM
heating system and verify that all parts are in-
cluded.
1. Attach Magnetic Heater Case Holders (2) over the male
prongs on heater case.
2. Slide Magnetic Heater Case Holders UP/DOWN and until
it securely fastens.
3. Find a location for the heater to be placed in your aquar
ium or sump. We recommend placing the heating ele-
ment where there is a constant flow of water to evenly
distribute the heat.

Connect other half of magnets by placing on the opposite
side.
1. Insert temperature probe into Magnetic Temp Probe
Holder . Note: Insert into the largest hole.
2. Place magnetic temp probe inside aquarium or sump
3. It is recommended to place the temperature probe
away from the heating element to obtain a more
accurate temperature of the total volume of water.
Note: For Sump Placement
Always place the temperature probe in this order:
Water from the tank into sump
Temperature Probe
Heating Element
Water back into the tank
4. Connect other half of magnet by placing on the opposite side.
