1 Safety instructions
Please read and note the following safety instructions to ensure the safe and secure
handling of CO
2
storage cylinders.
Carbon dioxide (CO
2
)

Do not throw the cylinder and do not expose to temperatures over 50°C!
•
Do not use force to open the cylinder.
•
The cylinder must stand upright when in use..
•
For refillable cylinders only use with a
JBL ProFlora

For disposable cylinders use a

Refillable cylinders: Do not completely empty the cylinder. Refill only at an authorized CO
2
-
filling station.
•
Only for use in an aquarium.
•
CO
2
is heavier than air and has a suffocating effect: do not breathe in the gas.
•
Keep out of reach of children.
•
Store the container in a well-ventilated room, not in a cellar.
•
When transporting a single cylinder in a vehicle: Secure the cylinder against sliding or
rolling. Ensure that the valve is not damaged to avoid the danger of CO
2
leaking. Provide
adequate ventilation in the vehicle e.g. air fan or open window.
