13 Wskazówka dotycząca ciśnienia wskazywanego na reduktorze ci

śnienia.
W butlach CO
2
znajduje się gaz CO
2
(dwutlenek węgla)
pod wysokim ciśnieniem. Ciśnienie to
zależne jest od temperatury otoczenia. W temperaturze pokojowej (ok. 20°C) lewy manometr
reduktora ciśnienia pokazuje ciśnienie wynoszące ok. 50 barów. Ciśnienie to podwyższa się
wraz ze wzrostem temperatury otoczenia. Przy temperaturze wynoszącej 30 °C manometr po
-
kazuje ciśnienie wynoszące ok. 70 barów. Ciśnienie butli
nie jest miarą
wypełnienia butli. Ta
pozostanie niezmienna odpowiednio do temperatury otoczenia aż do momentu, kiedy butla bę

dzie prawie pusta. Ile gazu CO
2
znajduje się w butli można praktycznie stwierdzić, tylko poprzez
ważenie. Waga pustej butli (tara) wygrawerowana jest na butli. Waga całkowita minus tara to
ilość zawartego w butli gazu CO
2.
Ciśnienie w butli regulowane jest (redukowane) za pomocą reduktora ciśnienia
do tzw. “ciśnienia
roboczego“. Ciśnienie to wskazywane jest przez prawy manometr reduktora. W reduktorach JBL

001 ciśnienie to ustawione jest z góry na 1,5 barów. Jest to optymalne ciśnienie do
nawożenia CO
2
w akwariach. Jeśli to konieczne można to ciśnienie zmienić za pomocą śruby
regulującej ciśnienie, znajdującej się pod niewielką, czarną osłoną na “nosku” reduktora. Przy
zmianie ciśnienia roboczego ważnym jest, aby następowało odbieranie CO
2
tzn. śruba regulująca
nie może być zamknięta, gdyż wtedy ciśnienie robocze nie będzie mogło się nastawić.
14 Zmiana butli
Jeśli ciśnienie butli spada (lewy manometr) poniżej 30 barów, należy koniecznie w przeciągu
następnych 2 – 3 dni napełnić butlę (butla wielokrotnego użytku). Butla jednorazowego użytku
może zostać zmieniona dopiero, gdy nie zawiera już wcale CO
2
. W tym wypadku oba manome-
try wskazują 0 lub też w akwarium nie produkowane są już pęcherzyki powietrza.
Jednorazowe butle zapasowe:
Upewnić się, że butla jednorazowego użytku jest
kompletnie opróżniona
. Nie mogą powsta
-
wać żadne pęcherzyki CO
2
ani w reaktorze ani w dyfuzorze.
Wymontować węża CO
2
z armatury regulującej ciśnienie (reduktor) i odkręcić armaturę regu
-
lacji ciśnienia z butli, w stronę przeciwną ruchowi wskazówek zegara. Pustą butlę wyrzucić
zgodnie z lokalnymi przepisami usuwania specjalnych odpadów. Przyłączyć nową butlę, jak
opisano w rozdziale 11.1.
Butle wielokrotnego użytku:
Zamknąć zawór elektromagnetyczny i wymontować węża CO
2
z armatury regulującej ciśnienie
(reduktor). Otworzyć śrubę regulującą i spuścić zawarte w reduktorze ciśnienie, aż obydwa ma
-
nometry wskażą 0. Rozłączyć śrubę przyłączającą armaturę regulacji ciśnienia (reduktor) od
zaworu butli. Oddać butlę do ponownego napełnienia. Jeśli nie ma do dyspozycji napełnionej
gazem butli zapasowej wielokrotnego użytku, można przyłączyć również butlę jednorazową.
Usunąć śrubę przyłaczającą butlę od reduktora ciśnienia za pomocą imbusa (wielkość 6).
Uwolniony gwint pasuje do butli jednorazowej. Przyłączyć pełną butlę jednorazowego lub
wielokrotnego użytku, jak opisano w rozdziale 11.1.
