Starter Switch
T2-071_2
This is operated by the starter key. It has four positions.
The key can be removed only with the switch set to
0
.
Note: Do not operate the starter motor for more than 10
seconds without the engine firing. If the engine fires but
does not fully start, allow the starter motor to cool for at
least two minutes between starts.
Note: The starter switch has an inhibitor to stop the switch
being turned ON when the engine is running. If the engine
fails to start, the switch needs to be returned to position 0
before re-engaging the starter.
