BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING!
Remove the battery pack before any installation or
cleaning the tool.
- Always release the On/Off switch before insertion or removal
of the battery pack.
- To remove the battery pack, depress the button on end of the
battery pack, and then remove the pack from the tool.
- To insert the battery pack, align the latches on both side of the
battery cartridge with the groove in the housing and slip it into
place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a
little click. If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing
injury to you or someone around you.
- Do not use force when inserting the battery pack. If the
cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted
correctly.
- Make sure that all the teeth on the blade (5) are always
lubricated.
- The cutter is designed for a branch thickness of max. 15 mm.
Therefore, cut all branches thicker than 15 mm in the work area
with pruning shears or lopping clippers before using the hedge
trimmer
USING THE MACHINE
- Hold the safety switch (8) on the support handle (4) in by
gripping it with one hand and use the other hand to hold the
handle (6).
- Push the on/off button on the handle (2) and the safety switch
(8) in at the same time.
- The trimmer will start. If one of the buttons is released, the
hedge trimmer will stop.
