SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 

BATTERY AND CHARGER 

- Check that the battery is clean and dry before connecting

it into the charger or placing it into the hedge trimmer. Store

and use the charger at temperatures between 1 O and 40 °C

only.

- Do not store the battery in locations where the temperature

may exceed 40 °C.

- Do not cover the charger. Never use or charge the battery if

it is damaged!

- Never use the charger outdoors or use it in wet or damp

conditions.

- If the battery is defective and has to be replaced, dispose of

the used battery in accordance with local regulations.

- Never dispose of it as domestic refuse!

- Always use original or manufacturer-approved batteries.

- Charge the battery at least once every two months.

N.B.! The battery is not fully charged upon delivery. It must be

charged for about 1-1½ hours prior to use.

- The battery cannot reach full capacity until it has been

charged and discharged about 5 times.

N.B.! The battery must never be fully discharged as that may

damage it.
