pliance near bathtubs, 

showers, basins or other 

vessels containing water.

The surfaces are 

liable to get hot du-

ring use.
The appliance is not to 

be used by persons (in-

cluding children) with re-

duced physical, sensory 

or mental capabilities, or 

lack of experience and 

knowledge, unless they 

have been given supervi-

sion or instruction. Child-

ren being supervised not 

to play with the appliance. 

Cleaning and user main-

tenance shall not be made 

by children without super-

vision.
When the appliance is used 

in a bathroom, unplug it 

after use since the proxi-

mity of water presents a 

hazard even when the ap-

pliance is switched off.
For additional protec-

tion, the installation of a 

residual current device 

(RCD) having a rated re-

sidual operating current 

not exceeding 30mA is 

advisable in the electrical 

circuit supplying the ba-

throom. Ask your installer 

for advice.
If the supply cord is da-

maged, it must be replaced 

by the manufacturer, its 

service agent or similarly 

qualified persons in order 

to avoid a hazard.
Burn hazard. Keep ap-

pliance out of reach from 

young children, particu-

larly during use and cool 

down. When the appliance 

is connected to the power 

supply, never leave it unat-

tended.
