Operating the Lean
Clean 360
This section of the user guide describes how to startup, operate, and
shutdown the Lean Clean and optional equipment:

If starting the machine for the first time since main electrical power
has been connected check the motor rotation direction. Turn power on by pulling
the
emergency stop
button and pressing the yellow
power
button. Using the
operator interface put the machine in
manual mode
. Then press
motors/pumps/drains
and
enter password (Serial Number). Press
blower manual
then
blower off
and check the rotation direction to be sure the machine is phased
properly. If it is not phased properly have a qualified electrician change the
incoming wires at the main disconnect and try again. Running machine improperly
phased (with pumps and dryer blower rotating backwards) can cause damage. Be
sure to check phase before running in automatic mode.

Operating the machine without all guards and panels in place or with
the chamber door open can lead to crushing injuries or other bodily harm. To avoid
crushing injury and other bodily harm, ensure all guards and panels are in place
and the washing chamber door is closed before operating the machine.

Opening the filter housing to change the filter bag without opening
the bleeder valve and shutting the process pump off can cause uncontrolled
release of pressure leading to injury. To prevent injury, open the bleeder valve and
shut off the process pump before opening the filter housing to change the filter bag.

Changing the i
nline filters without following your company’s
lockout/tagout procedure can cause bodily harm if someone inadvertently starts the
machine while you are working on the filters. To avoid bodily harm, always follow
your company’s safety procedures and lockout
/tagout procedures when changing
the inline filters on the Lean Clean 360-1.
