Framed Models
Framed models can accept either a framed panel or a custom
decorator panel. If the thickness of the framed panel to be
installed is less than

inch, a sheet of shim material to build the
total thickness to

inch must be used. Likewise, if the framed
panel is thicker than

⁄
4
inch, you must rout an edge around the
panel to ensure the panel fits properly. This is illustrated in
Figures 6 and 7.

Integrating the Refrigerator Into Kitchen Cabinetry
If the customer has chosen a stainless steel model it will arrive complete with wrapped stainless steel doors and stainless steel towel
bar or Pro-Style
®
handles. You will not have to install panels. Jenn-Air offers 42-inch and 48-inch dispenser and non-dispenser models
with the stainless steel design.
Framed or Overlay models require the installation of custom or decorative panels to give the refrigerator the personalized look the
consumer has chosen for their kitchen. Framed models are shipped with full-length extended handles (see below). Overlay models are
designed to use the custom hardware the consumer has chosen separately; handles are not included with this type of product.
