LISTENING TO RADIO 

1.  Press  the 

 button on unit or remote control to turn on the unit and use the 

FUNCTION 

button on the unit or remote control to select the TUNER mode. 

2.  To manually tune a radio station, press the 

 or

 

 

button on unit or remote control 

to change the frequency by 0.05MHz interval. Use the manual tuning method to tune 

to weaker stations that are bypassed during automatic tuning. 

3.  To automatically tune to the next radio station with strong signal, press and hold 

 or 

 

button for 1 second until frequency readout on the display begins to scan and then 

release the button. The tuner will stop scanning when it receives the next strong 

station signal. 

4.  The STEREO indicator "

((ST))

"  will show on the display when a stereo signal is 

received. 

5.  Adjust the VOLUME control to obtain the desired sound level from the Built-in 

Speakers. 

 

HINTS FOR BEST RECEPTION: 

To insure maximum FM tuner reception, the telescopic FM antenna should be fully 

extended and rotated to obtain the best possible station reception. 

NOTE:

 Automatic tuning depends on the signal strength of the broadcsting station, so 

weak stations may be skipped. You can manually tune to find the weak stations if a 

station gets skipped. With strong signals, the tuner may stop before it reaches the actual 

broadcast frequency, so you may need to manually tune for the best reception. 

 

STEREO / MONO SELECT (REMOTE CONTROL ONLY) 

When receiving a weak or noisy FM station, setting the sound to monoaural may improve 

the reception. Press the 

FM MONO/ST/STOP 

button on remote control to switch 

between MONO or STEREO reception. 

 

STATION MEMORY 

You can also save up to 20 FM stations of your choice and store them in memory.  

1.  Tune in a  radio station you would like to save. 

2.  Tap the 

PROG.

 button on the unit or remote control and the 

preset location number will flash on the display. 

3.  Press the 

PRESET/FOLDER(UP or DN)

 button on remote 

control to change the preset location if needed. 

4.  Tap the 

PROG.

 button again to store the FM station in memory. 

5.  Repeat steps 1 to 4 to store more stations or change previously stored stations. 

6.  Recall the stored channels by pressing the 

PRESET/FOLDER(UP or DN) 

buttons on 

remote control.
