1. General
This fire is intended for decorative
purposes. Jetmaster Gas Grates are a fuel
effect appliance intended for use in a
fireplace for the burning of solid fuel.
This fire should be installed by a qualified
person. All relevant Codes and Regulations
laid down by the Gas Supply Authorities,
Uniform Building Regulations and
requirements of local Municipal Authorities
must be observed.
Installation and use of this fire must be in
accordance with these instructions.
Prior to installation, ensure that the local
distribution conditions, (identification of
the type of gas and pressure) and the
adjustment of the appliance are
compatible.
The builders opening or fireplace opening
must be constructed of a non-combustible
material and must conform to any current
National Building Regulations.
Combustible material should not be placed
within 0.5m radius of the fire.

In some countries a non-combustible
hearth must be fitted in front of the fire
in accordance with National Regulations.
The flue and/or chimney should be swept
and tested in accordance with National
Regulations to prove it has an adequate
updraught which is sufficient to remove
all waste products of combustion before
the appliance is installed.
The Gas connection must be in
accordance with National Regulations
and be carried out by a qualified person.
The pilot light and flame sensing device
fitted to this fire is also an atmosphere
sensing device. If for any reason any part
of the pilot assembly is to be replaced
ALL the assembly including the Pilot
Burner, Thermocouple, Electrode and
Injector must be exchanged complete
for an original Manufacturers Pilot
Assembly only. This Atmosphere Sensing
Device is not adjustable and must not be
put out of action.
