REMOVE ALL PACKAGING BEFORE BEGINNING ASSEMBLY, INCLUDING THE PLASTIC COVERS ON THE STEM,
STEM TUBE, AND WHEEL AXLE NUTS.

THE DIRECTIONS GIVEN IN THIS ARTICLE—RIGHT, LEFT, FRONT/FORWARD, AND REAR/BACK—ARE ORIENTED
AS THE RIDER WOULD SEE THEM WHEN SEATED ON THE BIKE. THE “RIGHT SIDE” OF THE BIKE, FOR EXAMPLE, IS
THE SIDE WHERE THE RIDER’S RIGHT HAND AND FOOT WILL BE.

1. Getting Started

Installing & Setting the Handlebar
YOU WILL NEED THE 6MM ALLEN KEY.
THE HANDLEBAR SHOULD BE POSITIONED SO THAT ALL FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS ON IT ARE IN THE IDEAL POSITION AND
EASILY REACHABLE. THE HANDBRAKES LEVERS, ESPECIALLY, SHOULD SIT AT AN ANGLE AT WHICH THEY ARE EASY TO GRIP.
POSITION THE BIKE UPRIGHT USING A PROP OR THE HELP OF YOUR ASSISTANT.
