Digital inputs at X6 (standard functions)
The digital inputs are intended for axis-related tasks, e.g. limit switches.
They can be individually programmed via the EtherCAT bus system. DI09
and DI10 are suitable for touch probe tasks due to their fast signal process-
ing. DI08 (standard DI) can be used for the touch probe function, too. Each
axis supports two touch probe inputs with a fixed assignment to the inputs
(see Tab. 3.16).
The axis assignment can be programmed via the EtherCAT bus system.

terminal with 3.5 mm pitch from Phoenix-Contact.
