3.8.2
Monitoring of output for motor holding brake
The motor brake output (BRK_Out and BRK_GND) is permanently moni-
tored regardless of the use of SBC.
The monitoring works with switch-off test pulses which are sent with a
maximum time frame of 7.5 ms (depending on the load) and a minimum
time frame of 1.5 ms.
NotICe
In the case of high-impedance consumers, this short-time switch-off can
trigger the error "Time frame exceeded".
3.8.3 Specification of motor terminals
The terminals X12/X13/X14 are designed for connecting up to three motors
with motor temperature monitoring and motor holding brake. The required
motor connectors must be ordered separately, depending on the number of
motors intended.
