Automatic copying of controller data
9 Automatic copying of controller data
This chapter describes the Autostart feature which lets you copy data within
this product. To this end, create a command file which is then stored along
with the data to an SD card or USB flash drive. This command file is then
automatically processed when the USB flash drive or SD card is inserted.
In case you do not want automatic processing of the command file, you can
also cause the command file to be processed only by pressing and holding
keys F1 and F3 during power-up by entering an additional command into the
file
autostart.bat
.
For this, enter the following command into the batch file:
@cmd /c start \App\sys\jvcm_si 102
The Autostart function executes the following functions:
Creating directories
Deleting directories
Copying files
Deleting files
There are the following main application scopes for the Autostart function:
Where remote control is not possible
Where there is no PC on site
Where the operator is not able or should not be allowed to make
modifications to the plant
The following actions can be taken using the Autostart function:
Modification to the application program
Modification to the application data
Modification to the controller configuration
Updating the operating system (JVM-507B)
For automatic copying of controller data, the following prerequisites must be
fulfilled:
The programmer is familiar with the file system.
In this description,
Complete Name
means the name of the file or directory
including the complete path.
