Mount the instruments & ignition. The fuel tank may need to be removed to route the ignition
cables to the electrics behind the left side cover.
Mount carrier taking particular care to
line up the bolts correctly
to avoid cross threading. Using
Loctite make up the carrier bolts with washers & the rear shock absorbers top chrome bonnet
nuts with washers.
Remove the loosely made up rear shock absorber bottom chrome bonnet nuts & make up with
washers & Loctite.
Making sure electrical & throttle cables are not twisted mount handlebars using supplied chrome
yokes, washers & bolts with Loctite. Check the steering head & underneath yoke nuts.
Again ensuring electrical cables are not twisted, mount clutch handle assembly on handlebars.
[To ensure no burring of phillips head machine screws use the correct (big) size phillips head
screwdriver when tightening clutch & throttle handgrip assemblies onto handlebars].
