Remove the screw at the front passenger side of the radio
conslole, and remove the carpeted panel.

Tie the 16 Gauge Speaker Cable away from the C5-650
Speaker, and reinstall the door panel.
Repeat

for the driver’s side door.

Remove the panel.
S T E P 1 8
Connect the two pieces of 16 Gauge Speaker cable routed
in
Step 11
to the Crossover woofer and tweeter outputs
accordingly. Using the chart below as a guide, connect
a third piece of 16 Gauge Speaker Cable to the Crossover
inputs, and connect them to the wires removed from the
factory speaker.
Base System: Premium System:
RF (+) = gray green/brown
RF (-) = gray/black green
LF (+) = white green/brown
LF (-) = white/black green

Remove the two screws that hold on the side panel of the
radio console.

Secure the Crossover to the Crossover Mounting Plate using
a pair of #8 x 5/8” Pan Head Screws.
Adjust the Crossover settings as outlined below:
Base System: Premium System:
Midrange Presence = REF REF
Tweeter Level = - 1.5 dB + 2 dB

Remvoe the screw at the front driver’s side of the radio
console, and remove the carpeted panel.
