Parking and Stowing
NOTE:
When parking overnight, batteries should be charged
properly to ensure readiness for next workday.
Park and stow the machine as follows:
1.
Drive machine to a reasonably well-protected and
well-ventilated area.
2.
Ensure platform is fully lowered.
3.
Position the emergency stop switch to the off posi
-
tion.
4.
If necessary, cover the instruction placards, caution,
and warning decals so they will be protected from
hostile environment.
5.
Chock at least two wheels when parking machine for
an extended period of time.
6.
Turn the platform/off/ground control select switch to
off and remove the key to disable the machine and
prevent unauthorized use.
Battery Charging Procedure
The battery charger receptacle is located at the front of the
machine. The receptacle is located in the molded front panel.
1.
Connect the charger receptacle to a 115 volt (220 volt)
power outlet with a 15 amp minimum capacity.
2.
The batteries are charged fully when the 100% LED is
lit. At this time, the charger will shut off automatically.
NOTE:
Discharged batteries will take approximately 23 hours to
charge.
