Drive Orientation Override
When the boom is swung over the rear tires
or further in either direction, the Drive Orien
-
tation indicator will illuminate when the drive
function is selected. Push and release the
switch, and within 3 seconds move the Drive/Steer control
to activate drive or steer. Before driving, locate the black/
white orientation arrows on both the chassis and the plat
-
form controls and match the control direction arrow to the
intended direction of travel.
NOTE:
To operate the Drive joystick, pull up on the lock
-
ing ring below the handle.
NOTE:
The Drive joystick is spring loaded and will auto
-
matically return to neutral (off) position when
released.

Drive/Steer
The Drive controller provides for
driving either forward or back
-
ward when positioned to For
-
ward or Reverse. The controller is
‘ramped’ to allow infinitely vari
-
able drive speed between fast
and slow.
Positioning the steer control thumb operated switch Right
or Left enables steering the machine to the right or left
respectively.
NOTE:
When lower boom is raised above horizontal, or the upper boom
is raised approximately 16 inches (40.64 cm) above boom rest,
the high drive function will automatically switch to low drive.
This also occurs when Function Speed Control is clicked on creep.
TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY, DO NOT OPERATE MACHINE IF ANY CONTROL LEVERS OR
TOGGLE SWITCHES CONTROLLING PLATFORM MOVEMENT DO NOT RETURN TO THE
OFF OR NEUTRAL POSITION WHEN RELEASED.
