located at the back of the cabinet: the power assembly, the water inlet solenoid valve,

the air-break, the soluble product distributor, the pressure boiler, the pressure pump and

the volume counter.

Cup dispenser assembly

The  cup  dispensing  assembly  consists  of  a  storage  unit  with  5,  tube-shaped  columns

that  have  an  internal  diameter  of  78  mm  (3.071”).  The  columns  are  joint  by  flanges

running  down  their  full  length,  comprising  a  compact  assembly.  The  assembly  has  a

pressure fitted star-shaped piece that fits inside the gap left by the five tubes and serves

to mount it on the shaft that supports the cup dispenser .

Fig. 06

The  total capacity  of the cup  storage  assembly  is  250 cups.

The  cup  dispenser  has  a  control  system  that  employs

photocells  to  detect  whether  cups  are  present  or  not. When

the  photocell  beam  is  uninterrupted,  the  12  V  geared  motor

inside the dispenser starts and turns the storage assembly to

the next position, controlled by the storage assembly position

microswitch. If there are cups in the column, their own weight

pushes them down until they reach the hole on the dispenser

cover,  blocking  the  light  beam  from  the  photocell  system.  If

every  column  is  empty, the cup storage  assembly  will  rotate

through 8 consecutive positions, to make sure that there are

no cups in any column, in which case it will leave the machine

out of service.

The cup for each serving is delivered by the cup dispenser . It consists of a 12 V geared

motor  that  simultaneously  turns  5  cogwheels.  The  movement  of  these  cogwheels

releases the cup resting on them at the same time that it restrains the other cups in the

stack (see fig. 07).

Note:

The type of cup to be used has to be taken into account.

Furthermore,  within  each  class,  the  dispensing  cogwheels  can  be  adapted  to  cup

diameter  at  0.5  mm  (0.020”)  intervals.  There  is  a  cogwheel  displacement  system  that

allows  you  to  bring  them  closer  to  or  further  away  from  the  cup  centre.  Follow  these

steps to choose the most appropriate system to dispense cups:

1.

After deciding on the cup to be used, measure the diameter at the base of the support

ring and determine which category the cup belongs to,

65-67 mm (2.559”–2.638”) or 67-

69  mm  (2.638”–2.717”).

Please  note  that  the  dispenser  cogwheels,  the  cup  collector

supplement and the cup slide will be different in each case.
