The Glaser Seeder positions the seed precisely in the furrow for direct-seeded crops. The resulting seeds are
in straight, evenly spaced rows that are easy to use hand tools around for weeding or other cultivation.
1. Seed shaft:
Ensures even spacing of seed distance,
reducing the need to thin after germination, resulting in the
economical use of seed.
2. (2) wheels:
Provides good traction in sandy soils.
3. Seed hopper:
Made of powder-coated steel that eliminates
seed getting stuck due to static electricity.
4. Brush adjuster:
Controls flow of seed as it leaves the
hopper.
5. Seed hopper cover:
Prevents seed loss and contamination.
Allows user to see seed while working.
6. Cover bolt:
Secures the cover.
7. Press roller:
Closes the furrow and ensure good seed-to-
soil contact, promoting better and faster germination.
The planting distance between the seed is 1 inch (25mm).
The Glaser Seeder can be used as a single-row seeder or can be
mounted on a
Glaser Wheel Hoe
. A tool bar on the wheel hoe will
support up to 4 seeders with a minimum spacing of 4½ inches.
