1. The serial communications RS-485 cable
connects to the SA bus on the controller and
terminates on the SERIAL port of the display.
The SERIAL port adapter is factory provided.
The SA bus adapter on the controller is field
provided.
2. Refer to Table 14 for detailed information on
kit components.
3. Use the RJ-12 modular jack for the SA bus
provided on the controller to connect to the
MAP. Terminate the RJ-45 cable on the display
from the MAP in any of the available (ETH0/
ETH1/ETH2) ports. This guide shows the RJ-45
cable connected to the ETH2 port on the
display.

4. Order Option 1 for touchscreen display
installation when the unit is with a factory
installed MAP. Order Option 2 for touchscreen
display installation when the unit is without a

controllers
shows the connections made to the display for
power and communications in a multiple controller

1. Connect multiple controllers in a daisy chain
on the FC bus.
2. For integration to the display, Steps 3 and
5 are only applicable to the Applied Smart
Equipment controller.
