If you need to change the node address of a working IFC panel:
1. Change any Cooperative Control-By-Event (CCBE) statements at
other fire panels that depend on the old node address. For details, see
the
Full System Programming
section in
IFC-1010/2020

2. Enable a download at the IFC panel. For details, see the
Enabling
Download at the IFC-1010/2020
section of the
Fire System Objects

Metasys Network
Technical Manual (FAN 636)
.
3. On the Fire OWS, change the node address at the Metasys Focus
window using the Active Fire OWS.
4. On the IFC panel, change the node address at the IFC panel using
partial system programming.
5. Wait about 20 seconds for the new address to be saved at the
IFC panel.
6. Cycle power on the IFC panel to reinitialize at the new address.
7. Upload the Fire-Net NCM so that the change is saved in that
Fire-Net NCM’s archive PC.
If you have configured your FN in Style 7, the following steps must be
performed at the each IFC panel.
To enter programming mode, press the PROG key on the DIA or F3 on the
CRT. Then perform the following procedure at the IFC-1010/2020 CRT or
DIA:
1. The CRT screen and DIA LCD displays the following prompt:
ENTER LEVEL TWO PASSWORD
2. Type your Level 2 password. Press Enter. The following message
appears:
PRESS
1=PSYS,2=FSYS,3=PPRG,4=FPRG,5=REMV,6=PSWD,7=MSG,
8=HIS:
3. Type
1(PSYS).
Press Enter. The following message appears:
PRESS 1=INST,2=STY,3=TDLY,4=AVPS,5=ZBND,6=EXTEQ,
7=LOCP,8=ISIB,9=PARM:
4. Type
8(ISIB).
Press Enter. The following message appears:
PRESS 1=INSTL,2=ANN,3=XINT
5. Type
3(XINT).
Press Enter. The following message appears:
