(c) Confirm the calibrated value:
Press ENT button on remote control to confirm calibrated value.
After pressing this button, the X-direction self-calibration indicator
lamp will go out (fig. 22-3).
Note:
After calibration, power off and then power on again, in
order for the calibration to take effect.
3. Y-direction self-calibration
(a) Select direction of self-calibration:
First, make Y-direction of the instrument face against datum line,
and then press X/Y button twice to select self-calibration for Y-direction.
Now the Y-direction indicator lamp in the CALIBRATOR area of
flank panel is lit (fig. 22-4), and rotating head begins to rotate.
(b) Calibrate laser beam to datum line position:
Press two buttons on remote control (fig. 22-5), and adjust laser
beam to datum line position.
(c) Confirm the calibrated value:
Press ENT button on remote control to confirm self-calibrated value,
and with the press on this button, Y-direction self-calibration indicator
lamp will go out (fig.22-6).
