Type of water to use
Normal tap water can be used to fill the
tank. However, especially if the water in
your city is highly calcareous, it is advi-
sable to mix it with distilled water or use
only the latter. We recommend emptying
the tank after each use so that limescale
does not form inside.
Do not add anything to the water in the
tank and do not use water from dryers, wa-
ter with perfumes or softeners, water from
refrigerators, batteries, air conditioners or
rainwater. These types of water contain
organic waste or mineral elements that
become concentrated when heated, thus
causing splashes, brown spots or prema-
ture wear of the tank. Their use causes the
loss of the product warranty.
After use
After use, disconnect the steam cleaner
from the electrical outlet.
Press the steam dispensing button (D) to
decrease the pressure inside the tank until
all the steam has escaped.
The safety cap will open only when the-
re is no more pressure inside the tank.
CLEANING
Cleaning and maintenance work can only
be carried out when the plug is removed
from the electrical socket.
Before being stored or cleaned, the steam
cleaner must be completely cooled.
Clean the steam cleaner and accessories
with a slightly damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners and solvents.
To ensure good operation and a long life,
once a month rinse limescale residues
from the boiler.
