The only part that is subject to wear is the ionising tube, whose performance drops over time.
Components must be replaced when signs of wear appear, indicated by oxide on the internal
mesh of the ionising tube, which will make it turn white, and by the glass looking dull.
The
JO
NIX
steel 2C/4C/2F/4F
devices, are designed to indicate, through a special LED, the
need to replace the ionising tubes approximately every 14000 hours of operation.
7.3 SPECIAL MAINTENANCE
In
JO
NIX
steel 2C/4C/2F/4F
versions substitute the ionising tubes every time the
specific LED lights up (permanent yellow light). Generally the substitution of the
tubes should take place within 18 months of using.
Remove the plug connected to
the mains.
