4.20 System Parameters: Set Language

• The language used tin the modulators browser 

interface can be changed. If the language  
is changed, please click on "Save Settings".

4.21 System Parameters: Set Password

• The password used to login to the modulators 

browser interface can be changed. If the password  
is changed, please click on "Save Settings".

4.22 System Parameters: Backup & Restore

• Parameters Backup, this includes all of the settings 

and configurations that have been setup in the digital 
modulator and the .BIN file can be saved onto a PC 
or MAC computer for future reference. Note: The 
backup does not include the IP Parameters just in 
case you would like to restore the backup onto a 
different digital modulator.

• Parameters Restore, you can load back the 

parameters in the event of having to "reset to default" 
the digital modulator. Alternatively, Restore the 
parameters on to a different DM/R4HDM4 digital 
modulator for simple plug and play installations 
where the parameters are the same for a different 
client on their MATV system. Note: IP Parameters will 
have to be loaded in the event of "reset to default".

DIGITAL MODULATOR - 4 x HDMI INPUTS TO DVB-T MPEG4

All of our products have passed strict testing and 
inspection QA procedures prior to shipping from our 
factory. To prevent potential hazard, please follow the 
operation conditions below.

5.1 Prevention

• Install in an environment where the temperature is 

between 0 … 40 °C maximum

• Ensure good ventilation

• Check that the RF output level varies within the 

tolerant range if it is necessary

• Check all signal cables have been connected 

properly

• Frequently switching this device ON / OFF is 

prohibited; the interval between switching  
ON / OFF must be greater than 30 seconds.

5.2 Conditions that need the Unplugging of the 
Power Cord

• When the power cord or the AC socket is damaged

• When any liquid has spilt on the device

• When a short circuit of any sort has occurred

• When the device is in a damp environment

• When the device was subjected to physical damage

• When the device has been idle or on standby for a 

long time

• When after switching on and restoring the device to 

factory setting, it is still not working properly

• When maintenance is required
