Axillary usage: wipe carefully your
armpit with a dry towel, place the probe
under the armpit and switch the unit on.
Keep it in use up to 2 minutes, even if
you hear the beep alarm.
Note: normal temperature up to 36.6°C.
Rectal usage: lubricate the probe with a
water-soluble jelly. Do not use jelly like
vaseline. Insert the probe into the
rectum about 1 cm and switch the unit
on. Wait till the temperature stabilises
and you hear the beep alarm. Normal
temperature: up to 37.6°C .
When the peak temperature has been
reached, the °C( °F ) will stop flashing
and the thermometer will sound ten long
beeps if the temperature is below
37.8°C(100°F). If the temperature is
above 37.8°C ( 100°F) the unit will sound
ten sets of three short beeps each.
MEMORY FUNCTION

Switching Dual Scale
NOTE: To change between Celcius and
Fahrenheit readings, hold the POWER
button for 2 seconds until the “Lo” with

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the LCD displays the symbol

”, it would mean that battery needs
to be replaced.
Use a screwdriver, in order to open the
battery cover , and remove the old
battery. Place a new LR41 or similar
battery, respecting the polarity and close.
When the unit is not used for a long
period of time, please remove batteries,
as matter of fact their liquid can damage
the appliance.
WARNING: batteries must always be
out of children reach and away from
heating sources.
PRODUCT CLEANING
Clean always the thermometer, before
or after each usage, with a soft cloth
dumped with water.
Store the product into its plastic case.
Never deep the unit into water or any
other liquids.
