(4) Mounting the Paper Holder and Loading Paper
CAUTION
When loading/unloading printing paper, be careful not to cut or jam your fingers in the printer.
Mount the paper holder on the printer and then load paper.

1.Insert the paper holder hooks into the
square holes (upper) in both sides of the
platen cover of the printer.
(Arrow 1 in Figure 4-3 A.)
Then push in the paper holder while
hooking the paper holder claws in the
square holes (lower) in the printer.
Mounting is completed when a click sound
is heard. (Arrow 2 in Figure 4-3 A.)
2.Turn "ON" the printer power switch.
3.Place the printer upside down, and slide
the paper cover in the direction indicated
by the arrow while softly pressing the
center of the paper cover. The paper
cover is unlocked and can be opened.

4.Load a paper roll into the paper holder as
shown in Figure 4-3.
5.Insert the end of paper from the paper
insertion port as far as it will go. The
printer detects that paper has been loaded
and draws in the paper automatically.
