6.Close the paper cover, and slide it in the
opposite direction of step 3 until a click
sound is heard. The paper cover will be
locked.
Note that paper will drop if the paper cover
is not locked securely in this step.

7.Replace the printer to its original position.
The ERROR lamp is lighted in this state. Press the FEED button once to get the printer
ready for printing.
Notes
•
Do not apply excessive force to the paper holder. Be careful, in particular, when releasing the
paper cover.
Remarks
•
To unload paper, turn "OFF" the power, and then open the platen cover fully. Place the printer
upside down, and open the paper cover.
Then, simply lift the paper roll to remove.
•
Insert the end of paper straight into the paper insertion port. Diagonal insertion may cause a
paper feed failure.

Method for removing the paper holder
Perform the following procedure to dismount the paper holder. (See Figure 4-4.)
1.Remove the paper roll from the paper
holder.
2.While the paper cover is open,
simultaneously press the right and left
claws of the paper holder to unlock.
When the paper holder is unlocked, it
can be removed from the printer.

(6) Connecting with the Handy Search
Set up the main unit (Handy Search) and the printer so that the IrDA optical
receivers are facing each other.
At this time, there is a range where printing is enabled through IrDA. Set the units
up with a distance of between 50 and 500 mm and an angle of within
±
15 degrees.
