System-level privileges are required to change system parameters. These are indicated by the letter (S) following
their descriptors. If an operator is not logged in, or is logged in with user-level privileges, touching a numeric entry
field for a system
with the appropriate privileges, touching the field will cause the numeric keypad will pop up to permit a new value
to be entered.
The system parameters are accessed by for maintenance purposes only. These

POS: Display field, indicating the position of the batten as held in the control system.
UP OFST: (fixed-speed winches only). The up offset is the stopping distance calculated into target moves for the
winch when moving up, in decimal feet.

Entry field used with system level privileges to set a new position.
MAX SPD: (variable-speed winches only) The maximum speed of the winch, in feet per minute.
MIN SPD: (variable-speed winches only) The minimum speed of the winch, in feet per minute.

NEW POS field, the POS UPDATE button is touched to load this value into the
position of the piece.

Some winches are equipped with load sensing.
Load sensing parameters can be accessed by
first opening the winch’s parameter page, then
pressing the LO
button. This will open the load sensing
parameters page.
The load sensing parameters page displays
certain winch values, and provides a place where
an authorized user can manipulate them. The

the screen will return to the winch base screen,
while the PREVIOUS PARAM

the main winch parameters page..
