Plastic hood opening mechanism
To open the plastic hood, it is necessary to do the following:
Holding the hood with one hand, shift the latch
to the right until the click with the other hand.
The lock will get unblocked and the hood will
begin opening under the action of gas springs
In the course of opening, it is necessary to hold
the hood by the belt in order to avoid jerks in
case of wind gusts.
The inertial mechanism of the belt structure al-
lows to fix the hood in open position at any an-
gle. In the process of opening, it would be suffi-
cient to accelerate the belt in the upward direc-
tion, and it will get blocked, thus holding the
hood at the required height. In order to release
blocking, it is necessary to slightly pull the belt
downwards, and the hood will keep opening.
