3-4. connecting the power plug
The method to connect the product to the power source differs by the product specifications. Be sure to
connect the product to the power source according to the power specifications.
1
For the sngle-phase, 200 - 240 V type product
Connect the sky-blue/brown wre of the power cord to the supply termnal (200 - 240 VAC) and the
yellow/green one to the earth termnal respectvely.
2
For the 3-phase, 200 - 240 V type product
Connect the red/whte/black wre of the power cord to the supply termnal (200 - 240 VAC) and the
yellow/green one to the earth termnal respectvely.
3
For the product provded wth an hgh-voltage optonal transformer
Connect the black wres (three) of the power cord to the supply termnal (380 - 415 VAC) and the
yellow/green wre to the earth termnal respectvely. The product can be connected to 380/400/415
V power termnals accordng to the settng of the nput tap of the transformer. (Standard settng at
the tme of shpment: 380 V)
4
In the case the single-phase, 200 - 240 V type product is modified to the 3-phase, 380/400/415 V
type one
Optonal parts are requred.
• Hgh-voltage optonal transformer
Parts No.: 40005422
• Power cord
Parts No.: 40070548
In the case of the 3-phase, 380/400/415 V power supply, this product is operated under the
single-phase connection state.
[Precaution to be taken when changing the power of the high-voltage optional transformer]
To use hgh-voltage optonal transformer
1
wth
the nput voltage of 400 V or 415 V, you need to
replace nput power cord

In order to protect against accidents,
the aforementioned work should be
carried out after having left the sewing
machine for 5 minutes or more with
the power switch turned oFF and the
cord removed.

In order to protect against accidents caused by a ground fault or dielectric voltage, be
sure to have the adequate power plug mounted by a person who has electrical expertise. It
is also important to connect the power plug to the grounded receptacle.
