Sanding edges
The detachable brush segment can easily reach
edges and corners.
Connection to vacuum cleaner
Always wear a dust mask if the work generates
dust.
1.
Undo the mounting nut.
2.
Connect the hose to the vacuum cleaner
and to the end of the handle.
Use
1.
Plug in the power cord.
2.
Lift the sanding head from the work surface before you switch on the tool.
3.
Start the tool and begin sanding.
NOTE!
•
Do not try to guide the sanding head.
•
Hold the tool firmly with both hands.
•
Check that all joints are fitted correctly prior to use.
•
Do not use the long handle when working in confined areas or areas that are difficult to access.
•
Use the medium handle when working on walls.
•
Use the long handle when working on ceilings.
•
Do not press too hard on the tool – risk of overload. The correct pressure produces better sanding.
Use the correct sanding material for the best results.
•
Turn off the tool after finishing work.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE!
Always unplug the power cord before making adjustments and performing maintenance.
•
The tool does not require lubrication or maintenance. Store the tool in a dry place.
•
A damaged cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified contractor to ensure
the machine is safe to use.
•
Any faults may only be repaired by qualified personnel or an authorised service centre.
Cleaning
•
Keep the tool's safety devices, ventilation openings and motor casing clean. Clean the tool with a
clean cloth or with compressed air at low pressure.
•
Always clean the tool after use.
•
Clean the tool with a cloth dampened with a mild detergent. Never use strong detergents or
solvents as they can damage the tool's plastic parts. Never allow water to enter the tool.
Carbon brushes
The carbon brushes must be inspected by a qualified electrician in the event of heavy sparking. The
carbon brushes may only be replaced by a qualified electrician.
