EMON: Solar collector circulation pump switch-on temperature.
Open the EMON menu. EMON 120°C is displayed.
Press the SET button. 120°C flashes.
Press + and - to set the required temperature. The setting range is (switch-off temperature –3°C) to
200°C, the factory setting is 120°C.
Press the SET button to activate or disable the function. When the function is disabled, EMON --- is
displayed.
Press the ESC button to save the settings and exit the menu. The settings are saved automatically.
The menu closes after 20 seconds of inactivity.
If both of these symbols are displayed, emergency shut-off is activated and the storage tank
temperature has reached the specified emergency shut-off temperature.
If only this symbol is displayed, emergency shut-off is activated but the specified emergency shut-off
temperature has not been reached.
CMX: Maximum solar collector temperature (collector cooling function)
Purpose
The collector cooling function delays the evaporation of the heat carrier medium. Just before the solar
collector reaches the maximum permitted temperature, the solar collector circulation pump starts to cool
the heat carrier medium by using the heat loss in the pipes and storage tank.
When the temperature in the storage tank reaches the specified maximum value, the solar collector
circulation pump stops, even if the specified temperature difference for switch-on exists. In bright sunlight
the temperature of the solar collector can then continue to rise. If the maximum permitted solar collector
temperature is reached, the solar collector circulation pump starts again, even if the maximum storage
tank temperature is reached. The solar collector circulation pump continues to run until the collector
temperature drops below the switch-off temperature, or until the storage tank reaches the emergency
shut-down temperature (95°C).
If
is shown and
flashes on the display screen, the storage tank has reached the emergency shut-
down temperature (95°C).
Setting
Open the TEMP menu and the CMX submenu. CMX 110°C is displayed.
Press the SET button. 110°C flashes.
Set the required switch-on temperature for collector cooling by using the + and - buttons. The
setting range is 100 to 190°C, factory setting 110°C.
Press the SET button to activate or disable the function. When the function is disabled, CMX --- is
displayed.
Press the ESC button to save the settings and exit the menu. The settings are saved automatically.
The menu closes after 20 seconds of inactivity.
If this symbol is displayed, the CMX function is enabled.
