SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
Always follow these basic safety instructions when using electrical appliances.
Read all the instructions.
Do not immerse the main unit in liquid – risk of electric shock.
Close supervision is required when the appliance is used by or near children.
Disconnect the plug from the power outlet when the appliance is not in use, before replacing parts
and before cleaning.
Avoid contact with moving parts. Never press food down with your hands – always use the feeder.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord and/or plug are damaged or if the appliance has fallen
or is damaged in any other way. Return the appliance to your nearest authorised service centre for
inspection, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
Do not use accessories other than those recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer. The
use of other accessories can cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to come into contact with hot
surfaces.
The knife blades are very sharp. Handle them with care.
Do not use your fingers to scrape away food when using the appliance. You could cut yourself.
Moving parts – keep your fingers away from the feeder opening.
Disconnect the plug before attaching or removing parts.
Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
Only intended for household use, not for use in industry.
Disconnect the plug when assembling and dismantling the unit.
Hold the main unit with both hands when carrying it. Do not carry it by the feeder tray or the tube.
Do not attach the knife and the mincer plate when you are using the kibbe accessory.
Never feed products with your hand. Use the feeder.
Do not mince hard foods such as bones, nuts, etc.
Do not mince ginger and other materials with hard fibres.
Do not operate the mincer for more than 10 minutes at a time. Wait 10 minutes between sessions
to give the motor time to cool.
Allow the unit to rest for 30 seconds when you are changing direction, as the unit can otherwise be
damaged.
Do not press too hard when using the unit, as this can cause the food to catch.
Do not switch the unit on when the RCD has tripped.
Never attempt to replace parts or repair the unit yourself.
This product is not intended for use by people (including children) with various disabilities, or by
people who have no knowledge of how the product is used, unless they are supervised or receive
instructions concerning its use from someone responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
