Driving
Refuelling
The machine must be run on unleaded petrol with an octane grade of more than 86. Using petrol with a
lower octane grade will damage the engine and void the warranty for resulting damage.
The tank holds 3.4 litres and must be filled with uncontaminated petrol.
The tank has a reserve function.
See the figure below.
WARNING:
Check that the filler cap is properly closed before starting the engine!
Oil
Always check the oil level before starting the engine.
Use SAE 20W-50 oil.
Do not add any additives to the oil.
Check the oil in accordance with the instructions in the “Maintenance” chapter.
WARNING:
Top up with oil when necessary. The engine will be seriously damaged if run with a low oil
level. The warranty does not cover such damage.
Tyre pressure
Adjust the air pressure in the tyres as shown in technical data.
Starting to drive
WARNING:
An adult must always be present when this vehicle is driven.
The driver must always wear the necessary safety equipment in accordance with the specified
safety instructions.
It is highly dangerous to ignite the petrol used in this vehicle. The driver must never smoke or use
naked flames or other sources of heat near the vehicle.
Starting
1.
Place the machine on a level surface.
2.
Turn the ignition lock to ON.
3.
Activate the start button.
4.
Put the choke in the ON position if the engine is cold. See description.
5.
Do not use the throttle, press the start button until the engine starts. If the engine does not start
within 5 seconds, release the button and wait 30 seconds before trying to start again.
6.
As soon as the engine has started, return the choke to OFF.
Stopping
Stop the engine with the stop button and then turn the ignition lock to 0.
The engine can also be stopped with the stop lever at the back of the machine.
