USE
CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION
OF GAS CYLINDER
1. The hose is connected with the bush
nuts to the regulator and the product.
The product can be used with a 28 mbar
regulator with butane, 37 mbar regulator
with propane, 30 mbar regulator with
gas or 50 mbar regulator with gas. Use a
suitable regulator, certified in accordance
with BSEN 16129:2013. Ask the gas
supplier for a suitable regulator for the
gas cylinder.
2. The gas cylinder should always be placed
on the cylinder holder on the right-hand
side.
3. Check that all the burner knobs are closed
before connecting and opening the supply
of gas.
4. Before connecting the gas cylinder, check
that the coupling, regulator, burner and
burner ports are unobstructed.
5. Connect the gas cylinder by first inserting
the valve coupling nipple in the cylinder
valve and tightening the bush nut
clockwise with one hand, while holding
the regulator with the other hand.
6. Always disconnect the gas cylinder from
the regulator when the product is not in
use.
7. Check that all the burner knobs are closed
and that the gas cylinder valve is closed
before disconnecting the gas cylinder.
8. Disconnect the gas cylinder by undoing
the bush nut anticlockwise with one
hand, while holding the regulator with
the other hand and then pulling the valve
coupling nipple out of the cylinder valve.
Do not block the flow of combustion
or ventilation air. Keep the ventilation
openings in the cylinder casing clean.
9. Always put the dust cap on the valve
outlet when the gas cylinder is not in
use. Only use a dust cap of the same type
as supplied with the cylinder. The use
of other caps or plugs can result in gas
leakage.
10. Gas cylinders up to 320 mm in diameter
and 570 mm in height can be used.
11. Close the valve on the gas cylinder after
use.
12. Gas cylinders for camping and household
use normally contain 3, 5 or 11 kg of
gas and can usually be bought at petrol
stations, DIY stores, or from gas suppliers.
13. Pressure regulator: preset, CE marked
pressure regulator for maximum of 1.5
kg/h and operating pressure suitable
for the gas cylinder used. Such pressure
regulators can be bought from gas
suppliers.
14. Gas hose: CE marked hose of suitable
length (no more than 1.5 m) for
installation without pleated deformation.
The hose should be checked and replaced
as specified in national gas safety
regulations, or when it shows signs of
aging, abrasion or other damage.
