MAINTENANCE
•
Regularly check that all the screw and electrical connections are correctly tightened. Tighten if
necessary. Remove any dirt or korrosion etc. from electrical connections.
•
Never attempt to open the winch, this will invalidate the warranty. Repairs must
only carried out by
an authorised service centre.
•
The gearbox is permanently lubricated at the factory with high
-temperature lithium grease.
•
No internal parts need lubricating.
Replacing the wire
1.
Engage by putting the clutch knob in the IN position.
2.
Inser
t the wire in the wire holder. Firmly tighten the screw.
3.
Run the winch to wind the wire on the drum.
IMPORTANT:
Only use wires recommended by the manufacturer.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem

The motor does not work, or only
goes in one direction.
The remote control does not
work.
Broken wire or faulty connection.
Defective motor.
Replace the remote control.
Check the connections, and
clean if necessary.
Repair or replace the motor.
The motor runs but the drum
does not rotate.
Disengaged position.
Engage.
The motor runs but not at full
power, or the drum rotates
slowly.
The battery is low.
Defective motor.
Recharge or replace the battery.
Remove any corrosion from the
battery terminals.
Check the connections, and
clean if neces
sary.
Repair or replace the motor.
The motor overheats.
The winch has been run for too
long.
Defective motor.
Allow the winch to cool at
intervals.
Repair or replace the motor.
