USE
NOTE:
Always switch off the tool and unplug the power cord before making adjustments, or doing any
maintenance or cleaning.
Before using for the first time
1.
Check that the data on the type plate corresponds to the mains supply voltage and frequency.
2.
Insert the dust extraction hose into the dust extactor tube on the tool.
3.
Turn the side handle to tighten it.
Starting/stopping
Starting
Press the power switch.
Stopping
Release the power switch.
Continuous
operation
Press the power switch and move the lock button to the locked position.
To stop continuous operation, press the power switch to release the lock button and then release the
power switch.
Speed control
The speed can be adjusted from 1500 to 2100 rpm with the speed control. Select a suitable speed for the
material to be sanded.
Replacing the sanding pad
1.
Undo the cap screws holding the sanding pad in place.
2.
Remove the sanding pad.
3.
Fit the new sanding pad and tighten the screws.
NOTE:
Only use sanding pads specifically intended for the tool.
Fitting sandpaper on the sanding pad
When fitting new sandpaper it must be aligned to the holes in the sanding pad.
Dust extraction
Internal or external dust extraction can be used. The internal dust extraction system has 8 holes to collect
fine dust when sanding.
Connection to dust bag
The dust bag is connected to the tube. Empty the dust when necessary.
Adjusting the suction power
Turn the knob to increase or reduce the suction
power.
Use
1.
Connect the power cord to a mains outlet.
2.
Hold the tool firmly with both hands.
3.
Lift the sanding head from the work surface before starting the tool.
4.
Start the tool and start sanding.
5.
Switch off the tool after finishing the work.
