Braking (

):
Depending on the variant, the truck can be braked in different ways:
– with the control shaft parking brake (only control shaft B)
– with the foot parking brake
Braking with the control shaft parking brake
– Pull lever “Parking brake” (8) until the brake engages.
A
By slightly actuating the lever (8), the pallet truck can be braked during driving (control
shaft B only).
– Actuate the lever (6) to disengage the parking brake.
Braking with the foot parking brake

Never park the pallet truck on a ramp. The forks must be lowered, i.e. without load,
before the parking brake is applied.
– Press the foot parking brake into direction “A” until it stops. The brake shoe is forced
against the wheels and blocks them.
– To release the brake, press on the left side of the pedal in direction “B”; the spring
pushes the brake shoe back and the wheels are released.

Never attempt to actuate the brake with your hand.
