Procedure
Z
Always attain the guide wire in the load
direction if this is possible. This has the
advantage that the time needed and the
distance involved are less then when
attaining the guide wire in the drive direction.
• Press the dead man's switch.
• Approach the guide wire (169) with the
industrial truck (167) at an angle and at
reduced speed.
• Before guide-wire acquisition, position the
truck (167) at an angle between 10° and 50°
to the guide wire (169). During guide-wire
acquisition, the truck (167) should not be
parallel to the guide wire (169).
• Description of the guide-wire acquisition
process:
• When you are close to the guide
wire (169), switch wire guidance on with
the "switch automatic guidance on/off"
key (106).
• The acquisition signal sounds.
• Move the truck (167) slowly in the
direction of the guide wire (169).
Z
On reaching the guide wire (169), the truck
is
guided
automatically.
Guide-wire
acquisition ensues automatically at reduced
speed. Manual steering is deactivated.
• The steering angle indicator (124)
changes to “acquisition in progress” (170).
• The truck is now automatically steered by
wire guidance and is pivoted onto the
guide wire. (169).
• Acquisition is complete once the truck has
been aligned precisely with the guide
wire.
• The “acquisition in progress” display (170)
changes to “truck guided” (168).
• The acquisition signal no longer sounds.
