Vigilancia y seguridad de la carretilla
Se considerará que una carretilla accionada está vigilada cuando el operario se
encuentre en un radio máximo de 8 m (25 ft) y pueda ver la carretilla.
Se considerará que una carretilla accionada no está vigilada cuando el operario se
encuentre en un radio mayor de 8 m (25 ft) aunque pueda ver la carretilla, o cuando
el operario abandone la carretilla y ésta quede fuera de su campo de visión.
Antes de abandonar el asiento del conductor o la posición de servicio:
– no estacione la carretilla en pendientes ascendentes;
– detenga la carretilla por completo;
– el freno de estacionamiento debe estar puesto;
– baje por completo el mecanismo portacargas.
Deberá adoptar las siguientes medidas antes de poder dejar la carretilla sin
vigilancia:
– no estacione nunca la carretilla en pendientes ascendentes;
– apague el motor y desconecte los elementos de manejo;
– bloquee las ruedas o active el/los elemento/s de fijación al suelo o de las ruedas;
– baje del todo el dispositivo de suspensión de la carga;
– accione el conmutador principal o el interruptor de PARADA DE EMERGENCIA.
Está prohibido bloquear el acceso a las salidas de incendios, las escaleras o los
extintores.
