Extraordinary maintenance
• The hydraulic pump can be simply replaced by removing it from
the gearbox.
• Uninstall the adapting bushing, and install it on the new hydraulic
pump. Grease the gears and reassemble.
• Fig. 6.4 shows the correct lubrication of the transmission joint for
the hydraulic pump.

• Julia HP requires some maintenance of the high pressure pump
transmission joint. Grease every time the high pressure pump is being
serviced. Use lithium grease type NLGI 2.
• Fig. 6.5 shows how to correctly lubricate the high pressure pump
transmission joint.

• For a correct mechanical seal replacement, you must pay attention
to the pin’s position, as shown in figures 6.6 and 6.7 (ex. Julia 8000
with shredder) and in figure 6.8 (ex. Julia 7000 without shredder).
