Using additional audio
equipments
After correctly connecting audio equipments to the TV, use
the TV menu to correctly set the functions of the audio
equipments.
1
Connect the audio equipments to the TV.
Before connecting anything:
• Read the manuals that came with the audio
equipment.
• Do not turn the power of the TV or audio equipments
on until the connections have been completed.
• If the additional speakers are placed immediately next
to the TV, use magnetic-shielded speakers in order to
prevent magnetism from the speakers adversely
effecting the TV.
Note:
• Connecting cables are not supplied.
• The audio signal output from the AUDIO OUT
terminal cannot be stopped. When you want to stop
the sound from being emitted from the additional
speaker systems, turn the amplifier’s power off.
Surround speakers

:
Connect surround speakers to the TV when you want to
use the DOLBY DIGITAL function to enjoy surround
sound.
• Even without surround speakers, you can easily enjoy
surround sound by using the 3D-PHONIC function.
• Use impedance 8-ohm type.
• Pay attention to the positive (+) and negative (-)
polarities when connecting surround speakers to your
TV.
• For the best effect, position the surround speakers at
least 1 metre above the heads of seated viewers.
