External surround speakers
You can connect external surround speakers
to the TV so that you can use the “DOLBY
PRO LOGIC” on page 23. Before using the
DOLBY PRO LOGIC function, however,
follow the description “Setting the DOLBY
PRO LOGIC function” on page 37.
Positioning the speakers
Removing and Fitting the
Woofer Unit
Removing the woofer unit
The woofer unit may be removed as
necessary.
Remove the connector while pushing the
connector lever on the WOOFER terminal,
lift the woofer, and remove it.
Fitting the woofer unit
Fit the woofer unit in the reverse order to that
described in “Removing the woofer unit”.
Align the projection on the base of the
woofer unit with the hole in the top of the
TV, and insert the connector into the
WOOFER terminal.
Cautions when fitting the woofer
unit
• Check that the woofer unit is fitted
correctly on the top of the TV.
• Do not use excessive force when inserting
the connector into the WOOFER terminal.
Use of excessive force may damage the
connector.
