Programming the Playing Order of the Tracks
— Program Play
You can arrange the order in which the tracks play before you
start playing.
You can program up to 16 tracks.
• To use Repeat play (see page 13) for Program play, press
PRESET/REPEAT after starting Program play.

Load CD.
• If the current playing source is not the CD player, press

Press PROGRAM/SET so
that the PROGRAM
indicator appears on the
display.
• If a program has been stored in memory, the program is
called up.

Select a track from the CD.
On the unit:

track number.
On the remote control:
Press the number buttons.

Press PROGRAM/SET.
• When using the remote control,
press PROGRAM.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 to program other tracks
if you want.

To stop during play,

after play so that the unit enters another play mode. (The
program you have made is stored in memory until you erase
the program.)
To check the program contents
Before playing, you can check the
program contents by pressing
PROGRAM/SET.
• Each time you press the button,
the programed tracks are shown on the display.
To modify the program
To add tracks in the program before play,
simply select the
track numbers you want to add by following step 3 of the
programming procedure on this page.
To erase the entire program before or after play,
press
STOP

The PROGRAM indicator goes off from the display.
• Ejecting a CD will also erase the track numbers programed
from the ejected CD.
If your entry is ignored
You have tried to program a track from an empty tray, or a
track number that does not exist on the CD (for example, selecting
track 14 on a CD that only has 12 tracks). Such entries are ignored.
