1.12 EMERGENCY DISPLAY
When there is something abnormal with this Digital VideoMovie during operation, an error number (Example: E01) representing
the trouble appears on the LCD monitor.

This unit is equipped with a button-type lithium secondary battery. Improper handling of this battery may cause heat to be
generated, damaged, fires or leakage. Always follow the precautions below.

Be sure not to shortcircuit, disassemble, deform and heat it.

Carefully set the lithium battery so that its positive and negative poles are correctly connected respectively.

Don’t solder anything directly to the lithium battery.

When replacing the lithium battery, be sure to do it with correct one referring to the part number appearing in the parts
list of the manual.

When keeping the lithium battery, avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and high humidity.

When replacing the lithium battery, avoid using metallic tools such as tweezers, etc. for picking it up because such
the tool may cause shortcircuit.

When disposing the lithium battery, cover the electrodes with adhesive tape or the like for insulation.
1.11 PRECAUTIONS ON HANDLING THE LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY (J506/MAIN BOARD ASSY)

The mechanism does not shift to the next mode (in
the LOADING direction) though it has passed more
than 4 seconds after the mechanism was required to
do it.
No REEL FG (TU or SUP) signal is input for more
than 4 seconds in the mode that the reel must rotate.
The mechanism does not shift to the next mode (in
the UNLOADING direction) though it has passed more
than 4 seconds after the mechanism was required to
do it.
No DRUM FG signal is input for more than 3
seconds in the mode that the drum motor must
rotate.
No CAPSTAN FG signal is input for more than 1.5
seconds in the mode that the capstan motor must
rotate (the pinch roller is pressed to the capstan).
When capstan is
rotating (pinch roller
is pressed to it).
Note : Only the operation to turn on/off the power is effectual in any emergency mode.
